T1 Transit Declarations
T1 declarations for non-Union goods moving under customs control
A T1 transit declaration is required when non-Union goods move between two points within the Common Transit area without payment of import duty. We prepare and submit T1 declarations through NCTS for any movement starting or ending in the United Kingdom, issuing your Transit Accompanying Document (TAD) and Movement Reference Number (MRN) the same day.
We handle T1s for road, sea, rail and air movements, and we coordinate with hauliers to make sure the TAD travels with the goods, the office of transit is correctly nominated, and the consignment is discharged on arrival.
